We never took our son's arrival for granted.
After years of trying to conceive, followed by a miscarriage, we began to wonder, with heavy hearts, if we would ever receive our blessing. It wasn’t all gloomy, though. If anything, we grew even closer through it all.
We trained jiu-jitsu together and spent time enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Life had its joys, even in waiting. But with every passing month, our resilience was tested. Still, we held onto our faith, kept praying, and stayed hopeful for a second chance.
It took over two years before we finally heard the news we’d been praying for. We were overjoyed, and honestly, a little terrified. Yet as the weeks passed, we grew more confident, more grateful, and more in awe of what was unfolding.
And then our son, Ignacito, arrived.
He means absolutely everything to us. His life has given new meaning to ours and taught us the true depth of love and purpose.
